Olivewood & Silver Heirloom Teue Bench Brush #002
This handsome bench brush is crafted from a private stock of Russian Olivewood originating in Upstate New York.
The beautiful aesthetic of the Olivewood grain is complimented by hand-planted Tampico bristles. The back of the brush features an inlay of .999 fine silver in an arrow motif.
Each Corbett Made brush is unique and made by hand featuring an inlay, grain pattern, size, and overall shape that accentuates the natural beauty of the piece. The bristles are "hand-planted" using the Teue (手植え) technique to embed and wire them within the body of the brush head, rather than glued in. The finish is tung oil and beeswax.
This brush is the 3rd in the series, bearing the registration number 002 on the certificate and stamped into the brush head under the bristles.
The brush is shipped with a small starter portion of Beeswax for maintaining the brush's lustre, feel, and to protect it from the oils and moisture on your hands. It only needs applied occasionally, or more often as you wish.
This brush is roughly 9 1/4" long, 2" wide, and 3 1/2" deep at the bristles.
